Lyrigraphs are an ongoing project. The word was coined to describe a documentary poem with a scripted feel to it. This has led to a working theory of field theatre, a hybrid form that takes on a live correspondence with the world and draws rawly on its conscious and unconscious elements. The first lyrigraphs were commissioned for the Exeter Met Office in 2003, a tryptich of three groups of poems called the Ice Observatory Surveys.
Lyrigraphs have been published in Poetry Review (Winter 2006, Autumn 2011), Brand (Spring 2011), and The Rialto (Winter 2005).
